Red Pepper Chutney | Dhokla Chutney | Chutney For Dhokla | Vegan Chutney

If you love Dhokla and are looking for a chutney to go with it, you're in the right place!


This is not your usual green chutney...it's RED! And it goes so well with Dhokla and probably with many other things too...but it goes REALLY well with Dhokla! LOL!

Red Pepper Chutney Recipe Cooking Time: 7 Minutes (Approx)

Serves 4-5 People

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Large Red Pepper (or 2 Small Red Peppers)

  • 3-5 TBSP Tomato Ketchup (depending on taste)

  • 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger (optional but recommended)

  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin Powder

  • 3/4 tsp Salt (or to to taste)1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder (optional)


METHOD


Wash, seed & core the Red Pepper then dice it into your blender.


Add the remaining ingredients. I recommend you start with 3 TBSP Ketchup and add more after you have tasted it.


Blend until you get a smooth consistency.


Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Then pulse to mix ingredients.


Enjoy with Dhokla or any other appetisers that need chutney!
