This granola tastes like a dessert! I snack on it, enjoy it with yoghurt & fruit or even with milk! It's so easy to make and so delicious. You'll never buy ready-made granola again!
Easy Homemade Granola Recipe Cooking Time: 30 Minutes (Approx)
Serves 4-6 People
3 Cups Jumbo Rolled Oats
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
½ teaspoon Sea Salt
1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Flakes/Fresh Coconut Flakes/Desiccated Coconut
1 Cup Chopped, Mixed Nuts like Almonds, Cashews & Walnuts
1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 Cup Melted Coconut Oil
2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
Preheat your oven to 325F/165C.
In a baking tray, place the oats, coconut flakes, and nuts and then the remaining ingredients and mix it all well with your hands. Spread the mixture out on the tray.
Then place it in your preheated oven for 20 minutes. I placed it on the top rack.
After 20 minutes, check the granola and give it a stir. The edges tend to brown quicker than the middle, so stir the granola around.
Then place the tray back in the oven and back for another 5-10 minutes. Oven temperatures vary, so keep checking to make sure it doesn’t burn. You want it to be a nice golden brown colour.
Remove the tray from the oven. Then let the granola cool in the tray on your counter for 15-20 minutes.
Once it is cool, you can store it in an airtight container.
Enjoy with greek yoghurt & fruit or with milk.
