Do you love coleslaw? If you answered 'yes' then you have to try this recipe! I've been making coleslaw for many, many years and I always get compliments when I serve it! The recipe is so simple and it's so good! It's way better than any you can buy in the shops or even that you get at KFC or Nando's. Give it a try! I'm sure you'll love it too!


Creamy, Coleslaw Recipe Cooking Time: 15 Minutes (Approx)

Serves 3 - 4 People as a side dish

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups Sliced, White Cabbage

  • 1/2 Medium Carrot, Grated

  • 1 tsp Grated Onion

  • 2 TBSP Mayonnaise (or Vegan Mayonnaise)

  • 4 TBSP Salad Cream (or Vegan Salad Cream) (Substitute Marzetti Slaw Dressing in USA)

  • 1 TBSP Malt Vinegar

  • Salt & Freshly Ground Pepper

  • A little Sugar, if needed

METHOD


Slice up the white cabbage fairly thin, but not too thin! You can leave it in long slices or cut it into smaller pieces, the choice is yours.

Great the carrot and onion.


Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.


Let the coleslaw rest for 30 minutes (in the fridge if the weather is hot outside). This allows the onion flavour to mix in the mayonnaise and makes the coleslaw taste really good.


Serve with your favourite meal! It's really THAT SIMPLE!
